Thing 14 and Thing 15

I Had an IM conversation with Noel. My only concern with IM is my slow typing speed. I did realize that have had conversations with companies in the past and I do like geting instant information instead of waiting for an email reply.

I looked at Noel's Twitter but have not set up a Twitter of my own.

Thing 13: Librarything

I would only use this if I read so much that I had trouble remembering what I've read. Otherwise, I don't think I would ever use this. In fact, I knoe that I would never use this.

Thing 12: Bookmarking

I will probably never use this but instead I prefer to just use the favorites function. I don't use that many computers, that I need to be able to find my favorites from anywhere. I could see if someone was concerned about privacy, but I would never bookmark anything that was overly private.

Thing 11: Tagging

I use other people's tags bu have never "tagged" before. Now that I realise that anyone can tag, I may use it if there's something I really like and hope that others will find it.

Tech Play

Today I completed numbers 7-10 of the Tech Plays and have discovered that I know more about these applications then I thought I did when everything was first introduced. I thought that the tada list was pretty much a waste of time. Youtube and Flickr are both things that I use often. I have no urge to create a facebook but know about myspace, facebook and linkedin.

Thing 6 Podcast

I just completed Thing 6. I listened to NPR newscast and added the RSS feed to my Google Reader.

Thing 5 Downloadable

I did do the downloadable but never blogged about it. I did remeber how to access my blog so I have not forgotten everything. I am now ready to move onto Thing 6.
